For some reason, people seem to want focus on the very few negatives of Kohli, rather than just come out and say, he is simply a amazing outstanding cricketer who adapts his game to all 3 formats better than any other cricketer in the world.

I d personally dont think root is strong enough a character to be captain like. Anderson and Broad can fuck anarl cos theyre f***ing spinelss c.unts.

Very few options mate, I have said these several times, but I think it says a lot about his character continuing to bat at 4 when we have had a problem at 3 for a number of years now.

I like Root mind he is a class batsman and pretty hard to judge him so early in his captaincy.

I agree, quality batsman. I just think he lacks that killer instinct of say a smith or kohli. If they get to 50 youd bet your bottom dollar on them putting on a massive score, if root does youd probably bet on him getting out quite soon

Alos agree regarding him batting at 4, surely when stokes is back he has to go to 3? Get birstow or ali up the order?>

Yeah it's nothing short of unbelieveable in that pivotal second test while England had a sniff of chasing down the score, Bairstow actually batted eight!

2 of our greatest ever bowlers are spineless c.unts? Kohli is quality but I'll see how he does this year. Scored plenty against us and the sri lankans at home but struggled against the Aussies. Also a good couple of years older than young Joe

Fair enough I agree some of the talk from our lot has been poor and now Anderson saying they've got problems in their bowling attack watch Starc's replacement take a 5fer. Was talking about the recent series in India where he barely got a run albeit he plays an awful lot of cricket so may have been tired

I'd agree with the first comment. Could you see players lining up behind Root and going into battle for him ?

The second comment is harsh. I do think they are in the 'Let's pad out our statistics' phrase of their careers though.

I think Root has been horrendous as captain so far, there's nothing to say he'll make a good captain going off what he's so far done in that role - however, it's far too early to write him off. What's more, I have no doubt that he'll improve his captaincy tenfold before the next winter tour.
