Haha you've made my day.

Probably Holland, Germany, Spain, France ...

He would

You dont think Rooney would gte in Holland or France's team? Before Costa he would have walked into the Spain team anarl. In fact i'd say he'd suit Spain more than Costa. Not sure who Germany play upfront but he'd defintely get in the squad if Schurrle does.

Let's just win the Euro and the next World Cup and he will go down as one the the greats. First thing we need to do then is get Murinho or Pep as Manager as we will not reach the Quarter Finals with Hodgeson. If he does win the Euro and have a successful 2018 WC campaign his legacy will be sealed. So Hodgeson out please. With Sterling, Sturridge, Henderson and Rooney we have a core to make a run.

I agree Hodgson needs to go. And I also agree three of those four players can make a core of the team.

Neither would leave their current club job for the England job (or any other international job) currently.

111 yellow cards - 6 red cards - Rooney
79 yellow cards - 8 red cards - Cattermole
One is often described as an England hero and a footballing great. The other is often described as a thug.

International goals all came against absolute shite with these exceptions.

Brazil x 2 - Meaningless friendly
Argentina - Meaningless friendly
Netherlands - Meaningless friendly
Russia - Can't really class them as "absolute" shite, just regular shite.
Ukraine - Can't really class them as "absolute" shite, just regular shite.
Croatia x 4 - Can't really class them as "absolute" shite, just regular shite.

Rooney is one of the greats for England. No doubt

Peter Crouch: 22 goals in 42 games. Extrapolated over 100 games he'd be six ahead of Rooney.

Fair play, Rooney has been a decent servant for England but failed to live up to his initial promise.

Played up front, he would have been a lot more effective. As shown by his two poachers goals last night.

Rooney is 3 years older than Cattermole and will have played far more games. Not sure your point was anyway mind.

He hasn't lived up to the massive hype that surrounded him when he was in his teens but he is going to be England's all time record goal scorer and could do it before he turns 30.

He could also break Manchester United's all time goal scoring record.

Disagree, I think he'd get in them all.

Bear in mind the number of games he has played achieving these milestones. Fair play he has kept himself fit better than a lot of players.

  f***ing hell man

I would say half way between. No way is he in the same class as Ronaldo or Messi (or Bale for that matter).
