I can be arsed to do the research but there'll be countless others who've won plenty at Utd. I'm glad you mentioned Ronaldo because he was always a good measuring stick for Rooney. When they both first went to Utd they were on a very level footing. Even if you look at their debuts, Ronaldo destroyed Bolton I think and Rooney scored a hat trick in the CL. Ronaldo kind of dropped off a bit and there was a time that people thought he was all fart no shit, Rooney continued do well for for a player of his age. Through sheer hard work Ronaldo has become one of the best players of all time while Rooney has rarely ever even been in the top 10 players in the world at any given time. He's gotten to 31 and people, wrongly imo, are saying he's washed up, but the fact of the matter is Ronaldo who was on a level footing with him 12 years ago is still in the top 2 players in the world, while Rooney is playing at a level that allows people to label him washed up.
If he had anywhere near the commitment of a player like Ronaldo he would have been a far, far better player, and probably one of the best of all time. But the fact is, he's nowhere near that level.
How many of them players that have won a few trophies at Man United were as influential as Rooney?
Ronaldo and Messi are two of the greatest of all time and to criticise him for not reaching their level is very harsh.
Rooney was world class no doubt about it and was certainly in the top 10 of players for a canny few seasons.
