Rooney in the mirror talking about us

Clearly we haven't been in a position to challenge for honous in most people on here's lifetime so the only two comparisons (bitter disappointment in a one off game at an away ground) are the two big relegations (Man city and Wimbledon). Can't recall any en masse rejoicing or micky taking from the home fans on either of those occassions. What happened in May was the most embarrassing thing I've seen in 20 odd years of following the club. We came across terribly as a football club. Horrible, jealous and small time.

You really get pleasure out of trying to wind people up on a message board?

More embarrassing than the 5-1? More embarrassing than celebrating a 3-2 defeat at Notts County (good day that mind)? How about 15 or 19 points?

Behave yourself man. Though you've got the replies you crave.

meh, wasn't for me like many others in the crowd that Rooney forgot to mention. He actually won man of the match in the suite but didn't come to collect his award

'Heartbroken'... they finished second in the league. Try being relegated on 19 and 15 points.

It was small time and lacked dignity, but all fans are the same these days. To listen to him, you'd think someone had died.

what an utter f***ing self-serving wanker you are.

...I think that it was HOW MUCH we celebrated that annoyed Rooney (and many of our fans) ..perfectly ok to take the piss - any club would - but mebbe's we might have remembered we'd just lost another match!
I don't think we were celebrating, but if we were, then we celebrated FAR MORE when we lost to Chelsea.

There were folk in the North stand jumping up and down, celebrating as if SAFC had won something or scored a last minute goal to win the derby. 100%fact. It was one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen at the match
Where do you sit?

To a bunch of mouthy arrogant - mainly plastic - manc's ?

You sad plastic fucker.
Tidied.

The only thing sad that day was the behaviour and lack of class shown by our supporters. Antics more associated with Stoke City or Bolton Wanderers. Make no mistake they won't even need a team talk when we go to Old Trafford this season, and it could get ugly.

Errr whatever.

So they beat us 3 nil instead of 2 nil. Whopdey doo.

they dont like it up em..lol

imagine, man u v arsenal....spurs win title off arsenal in last min.....man u fans pass their condolences to the gunners fans gathered at old trafford...

glass houses fatboy, glass house

We should all be grateful that Wayne Rooney is a professional footballer, and he will be inside the stadium intent on stuffing our team, rather than outside the stadium intent on robbing our cars.

if it was Spurs we were playing and they lost out on the title i would have took the piss too, its part of football, some overly precious fanny isnt going to change my desire to celebrating other clubs failure, we have had fuck all to celebrate on our own terms, so why cant we take the piss, its not our fault Manchester United werent good enough over the course of the season to win the title, maybe Rooney shouldnt be looking forward to sunderland this season and should be reflecting on the reason the fucked up their title challenge last year so it went to the wire.

Maybe if they beat Blackburn instead of dropping 1st team players and getting beat 3-2, maybe if they didnt Capitulate against Newcastle and get turned over 3-0 and maybe if they beat Wigan instead of losing 1-0, or perhaps its just an excuse to mask the fact they were outclassed by City in their 2 derbies.
Humiliated 6-1 in the first and lost the second 1-0, maybe its just the fact Manchester United couldnt help but drop points against weaker teams, if he looked hard enough he could see his team wasnt good enough over the season by a fannies hair.

Turnip from the Tip didn't even want us to win against man u at the end of last season because he wanted man u to win the league.

Now he's had his pet lip on since the end of last season because some nasty sunderland fans took the piss out of the precious utd lot

I bet he wants man u to beat us next time we play them just because of that
I notice he hasn't yet told us where he was sitting for the Manure match.

Perhaps that's cos he was in the away end with his mankie mates ...
