I used to love watching WVA, he looks such a stylish rider and he can do absolutely everything with aplomb. I unfortunately am having great difficulty believing his form is unassisted and so I was hoping Van Der Paul would pull it off when they were out front together, I didn't expect it to come off but it was a great ride by VDP, excellent race - especially winning it from the front position in the sprint. He did so well to put pressure on WVA with the group bearing down and perhaps make him break a bit too early.
Shame what happened to Alaphillippe, that would have been some sprint at the end.
