Ronald Dahl Censored

Yes, this is what is wrong with society today.
Something that has gone on for centuries without a word.
It's just another "Look, a Corbyn" distraction by the right wing while they f*ck this country.

Anyone questioning why the colours black and white are considered unacceptable is now a right winger who's got it in for Corbyn.

See how it works yet?
I see this point has been conveniently swerved by the terminally outraged

It's a private company doing as they please with thier own property to maximize profits
Persuaded to do so to pander to the permenatly outtraged Woke crowd, to increase their sales.
The only way to keep them in check is by raising these issues and let them know that normal people aren't happy with the attack on our books, language, and culture.

As you demonstrate, the Woke are furious at the backlash, thinking up an array of desperate excuses, and lashing out labelling objectors as Nazis (their usual response)

No outrage here but never thought bowdlerising books would meet approval from anyone who had even a slight affinity to literature. Especially if the motivation is profit.
If the author wanted to change the books because they deemed them inferior to the update then that is fine.
I never read Dahl’s books and there are plenty of other stuff for kids so it is no big deal.

you've already shown you are ok with some edits to books, you just want publishers to make edits that fit with what you currently want.

You are sounding woke mate

There are millions of people with an affinity for literature who would not be able to read many of the classics if that had not happened.

There is a difference between interpretation of a text and bowdlerising it.

Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None was originally called Ten Little N*****s.

Would your preference be that the original name remained or are you happy that the book was edited some years after the original was released?

I would happily have it kept as it was.
