Just watching a programme and a bloke has got a rolls . Just struck me ive never driven one and id like to . Not usually bothered about cars but i quite fancy bashing one high speed down the autobahn. Anyone one driven one ?

Not driven one. Been driven in one a fair few times when I was a kid, as a friend at school's dad was a funeral director, and he used to pick his son up in one and often give me a lift. First time I'd ever encountered electric windows, so of course I put my hand in the gap and closed it, to see what it felt like, which was quite a big and painful mistake.

Never liked them though, always thought that they were a bit nouveau riche and tacky. Might stem from seeing one when I was about 13 which was turd brown, with tan seats, and a fat bloke with no shirt on driving it.

Yeah I'd never fancied one but seeing the new ones theyre some machine alright .

Yes, a mate owned a couple (at different times) and I got to drive them quite often but not far, down to Tall Trees and back was probably the longest. The things I remember most was the level of comfort, climb up to the seats and how other traffic would make an effort to keep out of the way even when there was space to drive a truck past.

Found out a few years ago my Uncles father used to own an undertakers in Sunderland, he had a fleet of RR hearses that ended up getting scrapped.
