has your playing style changed since the first few games of the season because at the start we were playing some lovely 1 touch football but since then it hasn't been as free flowingWe've managed to bag an hour or so with Jack Ross and James Fowler tomorrow, and from my perspective it's a chance for us fans to get to know the pair away from the pitch and the press.

Will Grigg - well known player.Just simply not true
Tony Davison contacts at Spurs it was marra. Will Grigg - well known player.
Leadbitter - known by every Sunderland fan.
Morgan - played with Ross before.
Dunne - built a reputation in SPL this season.
Sterling - Tony Cotton's contacts got him in.
So yes, I would suggest not a whole lot of scouting went on to discover these players, although I'm sure they have been watched. I'm interested then, to know what will go on to get more value from the market. Grigg, as we know was not good value, although that won't matter if he gets us promoted.
None of this means I'm not happy with these signings, I would just be worried if we are not more savvy in the long term. Good scouting may already be in place, I appreciate January is not the best time to judge.

Not many managers make changes at half time unless they are getting battered and haven’t been battered all season1. Oviedo has provided more assists this season than any other player bar McGeady, why is he out of sorts? He offers us width and is an attacking threat. If there is not a position for him in defence, has he considered playing him in a more advanced role?
2. Wyke is finding it difficult playing the lone role up front, what's Jack Ross's expectation for the lad? Is he expected to come deep and attempt to hold up the ball (if so, he needs the midfield to get forward quicker and support him), or is he expected to play on the shoulder of the last defender?
3. Set pieces aren't working. Corners are pointless at the moment, are we actually working on set pieces? What can we look to do differently so we can begin to cause the opposition problems?
4. Why do we tend to play two defensive midfielders at home when we're expected to break teams down?
5. Is Jack Ross concerned with our sluggish starts? We often start games slowly and we have not scored more than one goal in a league game since November, how does Ross intend to address this?
6. What is Jack's thought process behind regularly waiting 5-10 minutes in the second half to make changes when it appears that we could benefit from a change at half time?
He got mixed up then.Stewart said on podcast it was Cotton.
Asking for explanations - seems fair enough. What are your questions - Jack, does your missus like English supermarkets?People asking tactical related questions....really sure jack need your advice like
Dot?Stewart said on podcast it was Cotton.
Nah. Autocorrect and I thought everyone would know I meant Tony Coton, head of recruitment.Asking for explanations - seems fair enough. What are your questions - Jack, does your missus like English supermarkets?
Dot?
What are you basing that on?He got mixed up then.
Cos it was Tony Davison who used his contacts at Spurs. Well publicised . He left Spurs to come back here.Nah. Autocorrect and I thought everyone would know I meant Tony Coton, head of recruitment.

You think Stewart Donald doesn't know which man (his employee at a senior level) he is talking about across several sentences and quite specifically says Davison had nothing to do with it?Cos it was Tony Davison who used his contacts at Spurs. Well publicised . He left Spurs to come back here.
Does fans leaving early have a psychological effect on the team, in his opinion? (Accepting he will likely want to give a politicians / diplomatic answer.). Have any players passed comment? Or is it really something that has zero influence on the match/team as some claimWe've managed to bag an hour or so with Jack Ross and James Fowler tomorrow, and from my perspective it's a chance for us fans to get to know the pair away from the pitch and the press.

I agree, my original post was a gross simplification of what I was trying to get across; hence, my longer post afterwards. That wasn’t your original point![]()
...it was Davison. Tale it or leave it. Just like Donald phoning Wilder about available strikers? Cos he knows him very well. You think Stewart Donald doesn't know which man (his employee at a senior level) he is talking about across several sentences and quite specifically says Davison had nothing to do with it?
What evidence do you have that he is wrong? He might be, but seems very odd.

Ok. As I say, you may be right, just you have not said how you know this, and that Donald was wrong....it was Davison. Tale it or leave it. Just like Donald phoning Wilder about available strikers? Cos he knows him very well.
Can you please ask what our fundamental football principles are. I.e possession based, crosses , Croatia style left to right to tire teams out, play on the break ????
Cos I can't see what's it's meant to be anymore this season.
