Well we either approach it with honesty and transparency or we ask softly softly, easy questions and find out very little in the process.

I believe the questions asked so far are fair. They are questions we pose whether on here, amongst mates/ at the games on a regular basis. It's a great opportunity to find out what our manager thinks.

Spot on.

I think our wires are crossed, I also believe the asked have been fair and I disagree with they're there just to be pally which is what I believed the post was suggesting.

I was never a fan of RR and spoke as much but I think the podcasts have been very good on the whole and Im thankful that those from the club have done them and RR have facilated them in a good manner.

People talk about the stadium atmosphere, but we've won twice as many league games at home than away. Are they (owners, management, players) happy with the atmosphere? If not, do they have any thoughts as to how it might be improved, bearing in mind the symbiotic relationship that exists between a team & its supporters?
No we haven't.

We've managed to bag an hour or so with Jack Ross and James Fowler tomorrow, and from my perspective it's a chance for us fans to get to know the pair away from the pitch and the press.

Have you got any questions that you'd like us to ask? Reply here and we'll do our best to get everything covered.

Ask James , Does he ever go down and sit on Arthur’s bench.

Do they enjoy living in Sunderland/ Durham, What do they like most about the area ?
The A1 north

Ask him if he feels he should be putting more demands on the owner and the recruitment team?

Does he need to be tougher in this respect?

At the fixture release before a ball was kicked you talked about how the players should "embrace " playing in front of a big crowd and it was up to them to get the crowd off their feet. The big crowd should be a positive thing not a negative and you would much rather have this backing than not.(which it has been most of the season). This was like a breath of fresh air to hear.

After the last game you said it was difficult for some players because of the crowds "expectations". Other managers have used this as a problematic issue before(in my opinion as an excuse)....what has changed?
Oh and everyone saw Oniens performance v man city ...excellent...hes the only midfielder that likes to get in the box...why was he dropped for wimbledon?
ps...you are doing very good job!

3. Set pieces aren't working. Corners are pointless at the moment, are we actually working on set pieces? What can we look to do differently so we can begin to cause the opposition problems?

Did you not see the comedy attempt to try something different on Saturday?

Give me hitting the first defender each time over that effort! Just needed some Benny Hill music to accompany it.

in the pod it was opposite way around...jack was saying one striker was enough and stewart insisted on buying a second one..

It was comical like. It was as if they were trying to remember the England routine from the World Cup but had brain farts.

Is it possible for any Manager to assess how they're going to change a club over the mid to long term when the average job term is so short?

Could it be argued that Managers actively stifle a club's long term progress due to demands of getting instant results, so they keep their job? Meaning the system is set up to fail.

Can managers suffer from a lack of motivation when things are not working well short term and the worst thing that could happen is leaving with a payoff?

What would be his plan to have the club in the Premiership in the next five years and be financially self-sustaining?

How involved with transfers is he? Does long term planning go into them or because we are hoping to be promoted render that too complicated?

Is he happy with the current structure of the scouting network? Does he believe that British players are primarily needed at Sunderland? What improvements if any would he recommend in this area? What are his thoughts on Brentford's set up?

How involved with the academy is he and does he see himself being integral with its running?

He has spoken about being financially responsible due to wanting to be at the club for more than a year or two, how does he balance this with supporters who get fed up with boring football even when only losing two games all season?
