What’s it like being in the shadow of a managerial genius like Rafa?

What’s it like being in the shadow of the managerial geniuses of the SMB? So many on here seem to think they know more about tactics than a professional football manager.

Stew’s got this all wrong, why is he paying Ross thousands of pounds a week when he could just employ @The Cabbage or @kildaremackem for peanuts?

As if RR will ask tough questions. Itll be more about how 'cool' jack is.
Why be so negative about everything? We are 4th in the league with 2/3 games in hand and one game off a cup final. We've got a brand new team, he hasn't had the players available to play a high pressing game as we have had Maja and Wyke up front who can't play that sort of game. Once we've got a mobile striker in Grigg who actually makes runs down the channels and presses defenders the style of football and results will improve. Honeyman been back will also help.

I think we will go up. Just saying the questions won't be asked  f***ing hell, so precious on here at times.

I expect comments about Jack's jumpers more than the questions asked here.

He is a jock and a seasoned pro - he won't want or expect platitudes and pats on the back.

Going to be a brutal interview if you take questions from here...

Couple less hard-hitting questions:

1) How much of a role Keziah Sterling is going to play?
2) The reasoning behind a 1-striker formation? Is it his preference or is it due to lack of strikers, abundance of midfielders and attacking midfielders?
3) What was his expectations coming into the job, how are them expectations looking now half a season on?

How do the club select the players they want to target for transfers? What can we do to get better value for money in the future (considering our January approach seemed to be targets picked from the top scorers list in the paper)?

I'm sure you can ask this in a more polite way .

Do you think it would be wise for RR to go all guns blazing in a hard hitting manner?

Do you think that would be appropriate to either our progress or in the spirit of the occasion?

Well we either approach it with honesty and transparency or we ask softly softly, easy questions and find out very little in the process.

I believe the questions asked so far are fair. They are questions we pose whether on here, amongst mates/ at the games on a regular basis. It's a great opportunity to find out what our manager thinks.

I'm not saying that. Just found it funny that posters think he will get a hard time from them. He won't at all.

He shouldn't get a grilling but there's plenty questions raised on this thread which could be raised but won't be.

Spot on.

Do you like biscuits, what is your favorite biscuit and why ?

I second this to be asked.

Would also like to say that if we were to go up this season, what does the recruitment team have in place to ensure that we get value for money? How extensive are we scouting? Do we ever look at the foreign market?

We've managed to bag an hour or so with Jack Ross and James Fowler tomorrow, and from my perspective it's a chance for us fans to get to know the pair away from the pitch and the press.

Have you got any questions that you'd like us to ask? Reply here and we'll do our best to get everything covered.
Well done lads.

If I could speak to JR I would thank him for the very good job he has done so far but would just ask him to be a little more positive with his formation and tactics particularly at home. Could we not go with 2 strikers more or if not get midfielder players much closer to the lone striker to support him and get more players in the box to attack crosses.

What lessons has he taken from the managers he's played under and how successful would those managers be in today's game, given the control they used to have in recruitment and the power that now rests with players and agents?

Fair enough, just seemed a bit harsh and unreasonably pithy.
