The public tours will be advertised shortly apparently.
Yeah, they are a one off but I'm sure they'll have loads of different time slots available.
I've been on a preview tour today and it was even better than I expected. Loved every minute of it. The tunnel under the pier is a great start but the views from the of the lighthouse are breathtaking.

Wondered when it was starting. I'll definitely be doing that.

Be better if they could just open up the lighthouse occasionally to look around.

they do tours of just the lighthouse. There’s a ladder you have to climb up if you do the full tour, so it’s not accessible.

There's all sorts of reasons why that's not possible, mainly due to the space and having to limit numbers.
You don't have to do the tunnel bit.

I’m told that some Herbert or group of Herbert’s have deemed it whimsical to break one if the windows on the new entrance. I hope cctv was in operation and the bastards are caught.
Hopefully the weather picks up. Will still be a great tour but the views when the weather is good are tremendous.tosspots.

What has happened to the Roker Bull Horn. The fog horn attached to the lighthouse. When that was on the go you could hear it for miles .After the main blast it had a massive sub base "Whuuump" at the end that rumbled on for quite a few seconds so it could be identified in fog as the Roker horn.
