Roker Park latticework makes a comeback...

For me the tv cameras should have been in the east stand. Things like the branch flags and the premier concourse would look immense on tv. Plus if you added more like suggested with the lattice work.

Boro did that and I think it looks better now on TV

Can we get the half time scoreboard rebuilt in one of the corners as well, complete with 2 gadgies putting the scores up by hand.

That's a proper nod to nostalgia. 'Who's B mate?'.... No programme, no clue!

Were the mags always the same letter? Stuck in my mind that that was the case

... ahead of Friday night's game against Doncaster the Red and White Army have installed Roker Park style latticework to the Roker End!

The Red and White Army have also added an additional 30 large flags to our collection and they will be on show on Friday night too.

Roker Park latticework makes a comeback - and MORE flags ordered in time for Sunderland v Donny
novel idea, wasnt is roy keane who said our stadium needed more character (ie more distinctive features)

i'm sure it has something to with the sun shining directly onto that side. you notice in the summer games that the majority of the east stand has the sun directly in their eyes. i think that would play havoc with the cameras. it would look much better like

Yeah. Heard this too. Shame, as you say - it would look so much more impressive.

As stated earlier, it even made Boro's tinpot stadium look half decent when they did this.
