I would imagine it was down to bright red paint wasn't produced back them days? The black/ dark green was pretty synonymous with painting stuff like railings, band stands and lamp posts.Yes I think so. I'll see if I can dig out any colour pictures of the crush barriers.
I agree. It would almost inevitably come down to what was cheap and what was mass produced.I would imagine it was down to bright red paint wasn't produced back them days? The black/ dark green was pretty synonymous with painting stuff like railings, band stands and lamp posts.

any idea of a price ball park figure for the upper West stand to be done? I reckon with a little help from the right people, including the SMB, this could be achieved.Agreed. The club has looked at it but they would have to be stripped back and totally refurbed.
This was a cost effective version of it and from the start we pushed for this. The club has given us advertising space that they could’ve easily sold instead. It’s fan led and the club top to bottom have helped all the way. Chris Waters has been fantastic and Alex in the design media team
As is the Stand at Somerset Park, Ayr. Got a lovely stained glass window in there as well.Goodison Park was another of his wasn't it?
I'll need to go have a look, I didn't know thataye, there's some bits of it in the car park down from the main entrance.

Mags relied on honesty and weren't proactive enough in looking after their flags. We graft throughout half time to get as many flags collected and stored away as possible. There wouldn't have been many flags left in the stands at full time on Saturday.
That taken at the SoL mate?
Did we lose some mate?
Nar, was taken at bramall lane
I've not seen that team photo before.Logon or register to see this image
Without reading anything I know you’re talking rocker pies. The only thing hotter than the outside of the pie was a bovril, would make lava seem coolIce or Magma, take a chance - I dare you![]()
