There's a fair chunk of non Muslims wouldn't mind too tbf mind. The UK in general is still some way off eradicating homophobic attitudes.

Edit: Let's also not forget the amount of 'straight' married men in countries like Turkey who are rather fond of getting amongst other men and transexuals.

There are plenty of positives about national socialism if the racial/anti Semitic/white supremacy element is removed.

The first waves of muslims coming over from Pakistan assimilated very well. They were here to work hard and in general they taught their children, sons and daughters both to do the same.

General Ul-Haq's rise to power from the mid 70s which saw a change in attitudes - apart from the Ayatollah Khomeini it's difficult to name anyone who radicalized Islam more than he did - and this country just did not deal with that effectively.
Standards were allowed to slip. I've said this before but in the 80s rabid right wingers like Ian Hislop were warning everybody that Asian kids were setting the agenda in schools - refusing to be taught by female members of staff in Birmingham - and we pandered to them rather than enforcing what should have been expected for them. Just like running a school - if you don't get the basics right you're making a stick to beat yourself with.

We pandered to Pakistan itself because they were strategically important in the Cold War and all the time they were descending onto what we see now. A failed state that cannot enforce their own laws in the face of a mob. There really was no excuse for at least doubling down on entry examinations when it was obvious that the social direction of that country was being driven by a madman.

I believe in equality for homosexuals and equality for women. Religion doesn't. Simple enough for me

Well personally I've not brought race or religion into it. The people I know who attended the March certainly weren't bothered what race or religion the predators are but you carry on bud.

It's almost as if some on here are desperate to distract attention away from the real problem, kids are being approached by men in that area

Fwiw. I would have allowed those that fought alongside us into the country. I think that the way ex Gurkhas have been treated is disgraceful. That would of course, have been controlled immigration
