Got ourselves a delusional one here lads!

And with your intial stat of 3 managers having him in the team for most of the season, apart from being incorrect, in ALL those matches you’re thinking of, I think we won one of them. One.
Not sure how stating facts is delusional, please explain oh wise one. :p

I already did. One win. ONE!

You do realise we stayed up 2 of those years mate yeah? Now go and look who did and didn’t play in all those games where we accumulated the points to stay up and went on brilliant end of season runs. See if you can notice a trend. Be prepared to be amazed. Them my friend, are facts. ;)

I didn't say anything about wins. I said our last 3 managers have had him in the team, so (in their eyes) he must be doing something right on the training ground. What, I dinnar.

The two managers previous to Moyes initially had him in the team then finally saw sense, then he didn’t return. Except Moyes, he kept him in, and look what happened there. I haven’t a clue why it took them so long, it’s the most obvious thing to spot. Maybe I’m just a football genius. Maybe Rodwell has a magic spell over many.

I'm in the Lake District for a few days with my wife. I got talking to a Man City supporter and we ended up on the subject of football. He was friendly and polite and acknowledged how lucky they had been landing on their feet with their current owners and recent managers and success etc. Our relegation came up and he expressed great regret how such a big football club, like his own, could underperfom so badly for so long. He spoke in glowing terms about our supporters.

When we got onto the subject of our players I noticed he could barely contain his laughter at our signing of Rodwell and Johnson, the former who has and never will fulfill whatever potential he supposedly has and the latter the twenty minute impact sub who never quite made it either.

We've signed too many players like those on a promise of better things to come. We got rid of Johnson and Januzai. Now we need to get rid of Rodwell too.

There are many fools indeed, but nobody is THAT stupid mate.
We were many times over with Rodwell and many other heartless footballing cowards.
