Roberts and that piece of skill

On one today the op like. Going right overboard about things.

First ekwah will be a star for France within three year and now this about a first touch.

Get a grip

Malbranque played at the top level but he wasn’t productive either.

His record was abysmal. Class to watch though
All about opinion. Many on here rate Sessegnon. He also held on to the ball and like Roberts did not find a quick pass.

Sessegnon was much better than roberts. It isn’t even up for debate like

We’ve not had many better than Sess in the last 15 years.

Not often you have a player at Sunderland that seriously worries the top teams. Terry at Chelsea used to be terrified of him.

Lots of positive posts flying around after a heartwarming performance and result.
But, unless I have missed it, I don’t think anyone has highlighted Patrick Roberts sublime, world class, mouth watering piece of skill in the second half.
Clarke ( who was magnificent last night) hit a 40yard cross field pass high to Roberts who had a defender all over him……Roberts plucked it out of the air without breaking stride, he caressed the pace out of the ball and placed it delicately in front of him before driving forward.
The price of my season ticket does not do justify to that magnificent piece of theatre and skill. Thank you Patrick .
I agree, made it look easy.

He's far too good not to be getting goals and assists. They'll come especially now he'll have an overlap to use outside him.

Lineker was talking recently about Maradona when they were both at Barca together.
He said that Maradona came trotting out of the tunnel one morning, doing keepy ups all the way to the centre circle. One he reached the spot, he booted the ball straight up in the air as high as he could, when it came down he trapped it on his foot, then proceeded to do the same thing 5 times without the ball touching the ground.
Even I would struggle deeing that.

I just laugh at the people saying they’d rather play Ba than him.

Like saying you’d play Kevin Kyle instead of Niall Quinn

Aye said to my mate at the time when Roberts just brought the ball down on his foot and moved forward in one sweep, class. To think some on here prefer Ba to Roberts 🤣😝😂

Unreal touch my roberts, but has anyone mention the free kick by sack at the end? If you going to do that shi, why not put your foot through it and hit it towards goal? That free kick ranks up there with the worst I've seen.
