Well, apart from the person who said he's known Rob over 40 years and confirmed it's true, there is nothing to suggest he is losing his job like.

 Class marra

An absolute bore.

Pre-match all he wants to talk about is our 1954 clash with today's opponents and the feature on page 28 of the programme.
He caters for @dred and me da and the likes to be fair;)

Horrific decision if true. He might move on to the SAFC museum when that opens - it'll be a lot less stressful for him.

I used to play football with a Rob Mason, from Washington, on the Chester Boys team about 1975..he was a big lads fan..wonder if it is the same lad.
If the lad collected few red cards, yes.

I was wondering if anyone on here actually knows Rob? I run a recruitment company and I'd be keen to chat to him to see if I could help

Yes it's confirmed. Sad news and highly disappointing the club is ditching staff with the heart and soul of the club in them. Rob has the support of a huge amount of SAFC people so fingers crossed Bain will reconsider his decision.

How long has he been doing the programs? Pretty sure he was editor part time while still teaching. Could be wrong like.

Feel sorry for the fella like and am really struggling why they would get rid.
