Rob Key has never done a cricket administrator's role but you didn't think that should preclude him from being managing director of the England cricket team.

It's not like Kirsten hasn't remained involved in cricket.

not saying that like, I;d probs go for Kirsten, just saying thats the downside of him, he was quality, has he lost his edge after 10 years away?

Its possible like

Key is absolutely a risk btw but he is the opposite of an ECB man which appeals to me, rather than Giles who spoke and acted like a suit.
