Don’t they charge £12 or summat for mackerel? Mackerel? Bloody mackerel that costs pennies....

It used to be pennies but now around £1000 a tonne. Still only £1 a kg so a pretty good margin all the same !!

The only thing wrong with it is that I didn’t think of it first !! The concept could be rolled out in most beach resorts for very little investment with huge returns. I only wish I was 20 years younger.

Slightly off track but was driving along the Quayside and noticed that Jolly Fisherman place has closed and being turned into something else, thought everything was rosey in Newcastle these days.....

Turning into a steak restaurant. Never lasts long that venue. Think this is a restaurant from Harrogate opening
