Rightmove Voyeurism

I thought it was a mirror but pic 19 has a similar arrangement, however the window shown in the ‘reflection’ in pic 19 doesn’t appear on this side of the mirror.
You are right. You can see the shower cubicle reflected and it looks like what should be the door reflected but the window doesn't fit the perspective of any reflection. That whole wall looks wrong.

I wonder if MC Escher did their interior design?

That is impressive for £1.35m.

By comparison, instead of a castle with grounds, you can have a 13th floor flat with 4 rooms in Battersea, which is a pretty grim area from passing on the train.

Imagine dropping over a million quid on a flat and its not much better than those Echo24 ones

I really don't understand London. I was invited to an event on London City Island this morning and that was interesting to walk through. Compared to a lot of London, it is actually not bad. Formed by a bend in the river, it makes an island with virtually no traffic and you access it over a bridge from the DLR station near by. There are nice cafe court yard type areas and even a small area with a little bit of grass and a couple of shrubs. It has a few expensive looking bars and cafes, teaching places like the National Ballet and generally it seems quite and chilled. I could even hear a bird singing (only one mind). Best part of £3m to live there:

You could slum it right down to £325k for a posh bedsit:

Or if you could cope with being an hour and a half away from London, you could go for this for £2m

Just why would anyone pay £1m, £2m, £3m etc on a London flat? You have to really really like London to consider it.

If I had £1m to spend on a flat in London, I'd be looking at a £400k home elsewhere, then be saying I could live mortgage free on the £600k for 15 years with a £40k per year income and no income tax on that.

I saw this house being built on a green field site in the 1980s - apparently the owner was in his early 20s and had just made his fortune in the city.

In the mid-90s I was driving past one night to see police and an ambulance attending my neighbour's car after he crashed through the fence and hedge right next to the tower part of the house. My neighbour was still in the car with what looked like his brains spattered all over the interior. I thought he was a goner. It was actually his Indian takeaway. He had serious leg injuries, but eventually recovered.

I'd never seen inside the house until now. Some interesting ideas, but it doesn't quite come together as a unified whole.

Just looks like a load of big empty weird shaped spaces with old furniture dropped in.
