Rightmove Voyeurism

I was thinking more like a mini-conference centre, Harrogate sprung to mind

Yuck! That could be quite a nice house but one I'd be tempted to go in with a big pot of magnolia on day one, then sit and consider what to do with it after it stops being an assault on the eyes.

That en-suit in the master bedroom is mental. I don't know why people keep making them like that. If your partner goes to the loo in the night and wants the light on, the bedroom light needs to go on, and you can watch them wiping their arse. Does anyone really want that? When it gives the house 3 bathrooms for 4 bedrooms, do you really need it? The really daft thing is because there are windows at both ends of the room, you could have done it as a partition wall, and not really lost any natural light to the bedroom. Going full width but not as deep is an option to not lose as much of the bedroom.

Does anyone else picture the lady of the house as someone in her mid to late 50s, who wears a number of large garish rings on each hand and has skin resembling an old Yorkshire pudding due to too much time in naff Spanish resorts by the pool or on sunbeds back home?
Looks like mid to late 40s actually . I first saw the details on FB as a friend of mine shared the ladies post whilst she waited for estate agent to get it on line . I couldnt wait and was checking Rightmove almost daily to get it on this thread :-)

Something a little bit different.

Thought this said waterslide for a minute and thought it could have been some sort of outside Wet'n'Wild, disappointed when I read it and its just a waterside cabin where you can set up a fishing business from.

With its own private island.

Seil is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

We've seen it in hotels with glass bathrooms. At least if you're sharing a double bed, you're probably used to seeing the other person naked. Can't understand the logic of see through bathrooms in twin rooms though. I'm travelling with my teenage daughter and neither of us wants to see the other one in the shower or on the toilet.

Can't decide if I like that or not, in general I do have a bit soft spot for that era's buildings.
If that's worth 1.5 million, Peterlee must be worth a fortune
I think it’s probably about right for the area, it’s a nice bit of London, but £1.5 million for a tiny time warp is just mental when you think about it.
