Rightmove Voyeurism

Yes, been on here before. £2.3m for a house that seems to make odd use of the space inside, has a fairly small garden and lots of balconies where you can sit out and remember you bought a mansion on a bishop aukland industrial estate. Car dealer and premier inn opposite, scrap yard to one side, the tip out the back and a busy road. Search for Tindale Towers on google maps and check out the local delights for your millionaires dream paradise.

Alternatively you could by one of these two not far away and retire on the spare £1.4m. Or buy both if you could not decide

Top one is great. A proper house that

I love to see the mental houses in this thread with the daft decor and stupid stuff but all the big expensive houses with loads of rooms have zero appeal to me. Three of us in a 3 bed semi and we want to downsize. I do love a nice view and a proper balcony though and not just a half-arsed Juliet balcony.

Just incase you forget how many flights of stairs you have come up, better paint 5 foot high floor numbers on the wall
I know you could easily paint over it but I can't see anything else in that house. Just gives the impression of being cheap and chavvy and distracts from everything else.
Always fascinated by the pictures of this mad house.....

They love a recliner.

That's weird with the kitchen on the first floor. You'd have to lug all your groceries upstairs.

The offset level style house is common round that way. I had a friend in Biddick where the front of the house was half a floor different in level to the back. I think it was up a half flight of stairs to the kitchen and the dining room might have been up another half flight again.

looking at the photos, it feels like its heavily influenced by 70s\80s scandi style home design. room for a 15 seater table being a prime example.
