This house near us has been on the market for 6/7 years. It's at least 50k over priced. I'm certain it was on for 30k less as well a couple of years back. Bizarre....looks priced not to sell

Probably spent a few quid on fixtures and fittings and are expecting that to add value, unfortunately property has a ceiling price in particular areas and gold plated taps etc isn't going to add value.
