Rightmove Voyeurism

I was thinking, how can anywhere that big only have two bedrooms.

For £400k more, you could have had this
Rent out the Annex and Farmhouse to cover the extra cost.

Or go for this:

For a lot less, you could have an 8 bedroom guest house

Loads of other nice places in the £600k range, but they don't have a sea view. Though with that place in a hole, I'm not sure how much of the sea you will say.

If I had a million to spend on a place in Whitby, I'd not even be taking a casual look at that.
The nearer the sea the pricier it gets. Would love a place right on the edge overlooking the sea.
The bottom one would make a decent air b n b, wouldn't take much conversion.

I think only overlooking the sea if remote for me.

I live in a sea side town, and there are some lovely sea front houses. Many of them look to be organised upside down. Bedrooms on the ground floor then a living room with a big front window and on some a balcony, upstairs at the front. But I never see anyone on the balconies, because you have their front garden/drive, then a road with sea front traffic, parking, loads of tourists in the summer and it is generally in a busy spot.

I imagine that mornings like today when it feels like the first autumnal morning and there is a low lying mist, it is probably lovely to stick a big thick jumper on and have a cuppa out there when it is still quiet. In the summer, it probably gets annoying.

Your probably right there. The dream is better than reality in alot of cases.
For me it would be the autumnal and wintry days of being battered from the elements, all the while being snug sitting behind triple glazed glass walls watching it all unfold.

Something tells me that they aren't a fan of Pepsi, subtle hints
Don't think I've ever seen that many cupboards in a bathroom.
Looks like someone had too many left over kitchen units. What the hell is in them all

And what is blurred out at the top of picture 7 that they are trying to hide?

I do like that garden though, going back forever. My in-laws used to have a garden like that. A bit narrow and not keen on the house (without even considering the decor)

Can’t work out if it’s amazing or novilty. Some amazing parts to it, but would you fell happy living there?
I think it’s both. Floor is horrible but most has been done nicely. I do dislike a mezzanine that cuts across a window but probably unavoidable. I suspect it’s going to end up as a very expensive holiday let.
Keeping it warm will cost a few bob and notice there’s no energy certificate.

Aye, I’d agree with that. An expensive second home or holiday let for someone. Torquay is quite desirable isn’t it?
This. And no, I couldn't live in that, far too big and open.
It’d be great for entertaining & stuff. Rubbish for sitting on a night & watching the telly. Or heating!
