Rightmove Voyeurism

Unless it comes with a free live, love, laugh print, I'm out.

Got to be in the top 5 on the thread for remoteness? You'd have to pay me quite a bit to live there.
I would love it, you'd also have to buy the adjacent property as advertised in the listing to make it even more remote. Getting there by boat and waking up to that beach with absolutely noone around? Sounds like paradise for me although the weather is likely to make it worse

Great for a day, then when I want to do anything, match, beers, shopping, I'd hate it. Each to their own, I can see the appeal of places like that for some people, just absolutely not for me

Another relative bargain when you compared the London ones.

One of my personal favourites, this is heaven to me

im getting ' The Shining ' vibes.
mrs hsm has pointed out its got nee telly, what kind of barbarism is this ???

Probably can't get any signal there. Need a boat too if live there.
Type of place Quentin and Jocasta with son Tristram and daughter Charlotte would move to from southern Englandshire and realise after a month wtf have we done.
Come 5pm they sit down and have to do a @CPLforever reading the comments on the Chase thread without being able to watch it. That’s no kind of life.

I know what you mean. In my head, I'd love to live somewhere pretty rural with hills to walk in and a river/lake right on my doorstep. Dark skies, no noise or light pollution from neighbours. It sounds perfect.

Then I think of all the times I go to make a sandwich and notice we are out of bread. No problem, I'm about a mile from Tesco. My car needed to go into the garage the other day, drop it off, walk back. Half way through a DIY job and realise I need some 40mm screws. No problem, Screwfix or B&Q just 5 minutes away.

I think it would need to be rural, remote, but with a village with a couple of good pubs, a general store, a DIY store and a butchers, no more than 3 miles away.

Dave, I saw this one a few weeeks ago and was gutted it was already sold.
Ignore the house itself as I’d rebuild it entirely and perhaps only live in it while a new build is in construction.

That could be a lovely site, and close to Great Ayton and the train station. It would be interesting to see that in a few years time to see what has been done with it.

That is almost ideal. Lovely large enclosed property with mature gardens and near a decent village. I even like the idea of rebuilding a property to modern standards so it’s warm and energy efficient. Possibly try to get planning for an A frame.
