Rightmove Voyeurism

Looking for a 2 bed apartment ideally a old type building conversion within 30 mile of Sunderland, not seen any decent ones on right move.
Anyone aware of new projects starting soon ?

Is Horden better or worse than Peterlee? I have a sister who lives in Peterlee.

I worked in Horden for a few years and in that time some bloke shot his missus and step daughter with a shotgun and a lad killed a woman then left her in the park after trying to set her on fire

Peterlee has a pretty rough reputation but there are some pretty nice areas there so for me Horden is far worse

They have been done around 10months or so..
Typical 1920's building, ex department store...finish is supossed to be very good..gated parking/security etc.
For modern appartments they are a canny size.
Great place to live but Im biased...but plenty of pubs/ food places, good transport links, riverside really good now with county ground.
Close to Durham, Sundetland and Newcastle.

Shame that doesn’t have much garden. It could be an excellent development opportunity
Just thinking the same, could be a great investment that. You could Air BnB that out and put a hot tub in etc it would be fully booked all year round.

That looks like a lot for not very much. What's wrong with it?
Is it in a building that houses trouble tenants for instance?
Would be a great buy, if no issues such as above, for a first purchase.

Issue I see is its 3 bedrooms so you'd be attracting a young family but no outside space would put most off, would be decent for a house share though but then only 1 bathroom makes that a bit of a nightmare. Local area doesn't seem bad on a quick look on Google maps though.

Im currently looking for my first place, houses with gardens seem to go pretty quickly whereas flats/apartments seem to stick around for a while, not sure if it's due to price drops in apartments and people expecting too much though or since covid everyone sees outside space as a bigger priority.
