Rightmove Voyeurism

Again, 600k to share a wall and garden fence with someone and have a slightly overlooked back garden. Not what I'd spend that amount of money on.
I've walked past these houses loads and never really got why you'd want to sit on that balcony. Yes the sea view is lovely but you've got a very busy main road 20-foot in front of you. It would drive me up the wall. I'd have to stick noise-cancelling headphones in and play beach sounds to enjoy sitting out there.
I think you need to have a detached house and a bit of land to have a nice balcony.

I’m lucky in that my house is on a corner so the neighbours houses don’t really overlook me. It crossed my mine we could make a balcony on the top of our extension but we would be right over the neighbours garden. You see some people who have them over front streets. I’d rather stick to ground level with a bit more privacy.

I agree with the “lounge upstairs” idea for any house that has a great view. Totally wasted on bedrooms.
There’s a lot of money spent an additions to houses, that are then hardly used. Like bedroom balconies.

Bargain considering the price of the 2 new builds next door.

Whitburn Bents Road, South Bents

Bedroom four is tiny! It's ok for a guest to bed down for a night or two, but you couldn't have anyone in there permanently. There's no room for anything other than the bed.

Detached but none of your own space at each side of the house, and a garage across the road? Nah.
Actual access looks problematic as you have to navigate Glebe Drive which is little more than a bcak lane . Google maps is from 2012 and didnt go past the end of Glebe Drive

Jesus Christ!

I know @RestlessNatives loves words on things 😁
Bastard 😂

Recently discovered the house I grew up in was for sale, it didn’t look anything like this when I was a kid, the only form of heating we had was a coal fire in the back room and an electric fire in the front.

They’ve done that nice mind. Like that.
