Rightmove Voyeurism

I’ll never understand why people get to the level of wealth that could seen them live comfortably for life, but keep going and going, working all hours to pick up even more millions.
Agreed, have never understood the need to continue working and accumulate more and more for their bank balances, I was happy to take early retirement and trundle along on the pensions I had planned.

There was a bunch of three students a while ago who made their own ISP for students while at University. It might have even been before they graduated a big ISP like AoL bought them out and they netted a few million each. They were interviewed and asked what they planned to do with their lives. Two were very much on the computing career path. I think one wanted to work for a particular big company, one wanted to use the money to start his own company. The third said something along the lines of "I'll do whatever the hell I like". He had sussed out that he had already made more money than he would have expected on a normal career path and didn't actually need to work. He planned to go off traveling for a year or two and then decide.

I'd be like the third if I was fortunate enough to suddenly earn a few million.

Loads of potential if you got 100k to throw at it.
“Rear yard” I think none of back gardens along there. I’m out.
Crazy. I know it is no use if you live in London, but you could buy an amazing place in the Lakes and have £4m to live on. I’ll never understand why people get to the level of wealth that could seen them live comfortably for live, but keep going and going, working all hours to pick up even more millions.

At least Rodwell made his millions doing very little.
Paul Simon summed It up: “One mans ceiling is another mans floor”. He weren’t just talking about living in a block of flats.

Solid oak worktops ?

who the fuck has solid oak worktops in 2020 man ?

strangely enough I tend not to go in B&Q ...
If you go with a navy kitchen (the missus wants this) it’s either white granite or oak. Oak still looks good in the right setting.

B&Q do a 600mm base for £28. Can’t go wrong with that mind.
