This is true.

In my last house I got a price on putting on 2 new bedrooms and extending the kitchen, it was about £40k.
In the end I added £40k to the mortgage and bought a bigger house which was built as a 4 bed, so everywhere is bigger by default rather than having 4 bedrooms and a downstairs designed for a 2 bed house.

Saying that I think that the house I'm in at the moment is fine and even if I came into some money, I'd rather stay put and spend the money on other things.

Well at least the first one is a nice change from the ubiquitous grey that the rest of the country has been splashing all over their houses.

The second one - oh my days! I think that is the ugliest frontage to a house that I have ever seen. If you are going to spend money on a drive then make it look nice rather than like the back of an industrial unit. The ramp just sets the whole thing off too.

A lot for your money here. An up & running deli business, 4 bed house and a separate rental unit out the back.

Used to know the family who had this when it was a greengrocers many moons ago.

Is it not a little quirky decoration?

I was in the Ben Sherman Shop a few years ago & there was a Vespa parked there. I made the decision then that if I ever had a lottery win & enough space in the entrance / hall, I’d get a cool as fuck Vespa, polish it up & habe it in the corner Quadrophonia style.
