I must admit after Spurs lashed us midweek at WHL two seasons ago I thought we were down. Standing upstairs behind the goal joining in with the "Dont Worry About A Thing...." marathon chant was (in my mind) getting next seasons support started already. But a miracle happened.
After that I vowed that its NEVER over until theres no more balls to be kicked.

I thought we were gone. We didn't invest properly in the summer and started shocking after a crap pre season.
Then we hit a decent spell but that didn't last long. Christmas time we looked done for.
I did start believing after the Bournemouth draw

Like @riffraff said I will never ever doubt this club again

Eating cheese?

I expect relegation every year. That way I can always look forward to a pleasant surprise rather than the many crushing disappointments I've had to endure in the last 50 years

Yep, thought we were long gone, simply could not win games, playing for a point. Great thing about being pessimistic, can't go wrong.

Although, we didn't quite achieve what I predicted 9 games back, which was that we'd finish the season undefeated from then on, we made a bloody good effort of it, with 3 big wins, 5 draws and only one defeat to the Champion's Leicester, with one more to play.

Kid Galahad thought I was nuts, but it was clear that the penny had dropped and the squad had eventually bought in to Big Sam's philosophy.

He has taken us from a team who was losing regularly, to a team who could eek out a draw, then he insisted on clean sheets which we started to achieve, before ultimately getting us back to back victories against well established Premier League sides in strong, confident displays.

I'm not expecting us to go on and do what Leicester have done by any means, but he has certainly given us an excellent platform from where we can launch a serious attempt to get a top 10 finish next season.

Here's to a successful transfer window with some more quality additions and see what it brings after a relaxing summer break.

For those lucky enough to be going Watford on Sunday, enjoy the hell out of your day and clap every touch Ighalo makes....what a signing he would be next to JD!

Haway the Lads. f***ing buzzing!

"Its never over until the fat lady sings", that is what I have learned since I began watching the lads in 57...............I have seen so many promotions and relegation's this latest battle was one that never really bothered me as since Sam arrived .The results improved steadily, unbeaten mostly, while our rivals have continued on a roller coaster of results wins and losing. Anyone who has followed the Lads for a long time will know where I'm coming from on this..
Just like our trip to Manchester United for the Carling Cup semi final, which I always felt we were never going to lose even when it came to the penalties, I've been quite calm. Not at the games mind, only at home...
I'm sure there are lots of supporters have similar experiences and who have felt the way I have over the past few months, more so the older ones but I put that down to one thing and one thing only.....................Experience

I never said we were down and always thought we would do enough to get out of trouble...however I can't stand or understand the witch hunt to fans who had another opinion on the season, everyone has the right to speak up and say what you feel on here, that's what this place is for, and lets be honest it would be boring if we all agreed with each other on everything ..lets just be over the moon and bask in the glory that we've stayed up and we're also sent the Mags down....
