Just been too see Richard Thompson at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.
He did a few from his new album and some old favourites - Meet on the Ledge, Wall of Death, Tale in Hard Time, Tear Stained Letter, Dimming of the Day and a thunderous rendition of Vincent Black Lightning.
His guitar playing was magnificent throughout.
Finished the evening with the old Sorrows song 'Take a Heart'.
Well worth a watch if he's in the area (Gateshead 24th October) .... if you enjoy living legends that is.
