Stuff you can do yourself or SW or other organisations. You find or do whatever works for you, excuse the pun, but no one size fits all in anything. You pays your pounds to lose pounds whatever diet or exercise you choose.
That's life a decision based skill, you get right or wrong or ignore for medical reasons, laziness or loads of other reasons.
Just find one that works for you and use as and when required, like everything in moderation. Hope this helps!

My work mate started it but couldn't manage the calories (3500 cals to lose weight IIRC - he's 20 stone+) or steps needed everyday.
Lots of good info on there but a little disappointed to see certain foods start to be demonised, such as full fat milk, IIFYM IMO.
he couldn't manage to cram that much food in. I assume the plan relies on high calories but also high amount of calories burnt to fure up the metabolism but with having a sedantary job he was struggling to hit his steps.what he couldn't manage to eat 3500 or was going over that everyday

are you meant to track calories burnt from exercise on top of your steps? I can't remember.I have been given a goal of 3,000 like....never usually do anywhere near that during the week

He now does what I do, uses a calorie calculator I've had success with, take 500 off a day to get your cutting calories. When he exercises he uses a chest strap to count calories burnt and eats them back, keeping his metabolism fired up. Plenty of water to keep hydrated, protein is set at 1g per 1lb of LBM, fat and carbs split anyway you like, 30g fibre.
yer that's why I always put my calorie expenditure as sedentary and try track cals manually using a chest strap, my expenditure varies week and week due to home life.that's what I asked and they were like no... because ive already said I go to the gym 3 times a week they were like we have still factored that into your goal.....but what if I decide to go 5 times a week or go nuts and do 2 gours of hard cardio and burn an extra 1500 cals a few days a week surely that means you loose more than the goal of 1llb or 2llb a week

We Don't demonise no food, just tell people to be smart with calorie intake.
Fella on 3500 cals averaged 4000+ to maintain his weight 100%
Some people put their trust in us some dont. Those who do get results every time. It's just building the trust enough to win them over that's the hard part.
IF you decide to change your amount of gym workouts then just update your setting on the app and it will adjust your calories Best of luck mate, hope you smash it/

He ended up that big through drink I’d imagineIn my very limited knowledge of dieting (I’m 19 stone myself but I don’t give a fuck and that’s the difference, mind I am 6ft 6)....
How did your mate struggle to consume so many calories? If we’re being absolutely brutally honest, to end up at 20 stone the bloke has been putting that, and probably more, away for years. I could understand struggles to hit protein/fibre/steps/exercise/low calories but struggling to hit high calories seems very very odd to me.
