Some people on here must have ridiculously short attention spans. Games aren't any better or worse for enjoyment as they were in previous console generations, it just requires greater imagination. People complaining that they're too hard - I'd argue that a lot (not all) modern games are too easy! It's also obviously cheaper - you have access to 20/30 years' worth of gaming for free if you have even very basic hardware.

Completed Parasite Eve last weekend and loved it, thinking about starting Final Fantasy III again.

Got Parasite eve on import when it came out. Still have it. Great game.
