Oster's Alright
Winger
Anyone done this themselves?
I've been given a PS4, that has a knackered disc drive (the mechanism to pull the disc in no longer works), and I've seen some replacement disc drives online for £30/£40 which seems reasonable.
However, looking online it seems some PS4's need "re-married" when you change one of the components. Effectively fooling the motherboard that the new drive is the old one?
Is that the case, and is it easy to "remarry" the PS4, or is it all rubbish and you can swap disc drives and they'll just work?
