Remi Matthews

Shite for Bolton, shite for us, gets a prem move

Got a great agent, just proves he likes money over playing the game he’s a supposed professional at!

Maybe he's just realised at 27 he's not going to have the career he wanted as a kid and a PL club will give him more money and maybe some coaching experience.

Hes made 136 appearances at 27, he's not been very good. He might only play games at Palace in an absolute emergency but I dont see how anyone can knock him for it. the alternative is what - fighting for a place in league one or 2 or even dropping out the leagues?

Has not the arse to play in a proper game but does well on the training pitch . Will never play a match for them and is the equivalent of a practice roster player in NFL.

That’s pretty obvious that he’s not going to be playing games, it’s all about the money to him and this move tells people that! If you’re a professional do you take money over games 🤷🏻‍♂️ Personally I’d want to play as much as possible for a few quid less

A few quid certainly but he’d command maybe 2.5k a week in league one and could easily be getting 10k at Palace. Would be madness not to take that.

Its all about the money to almost all of them though, as it is at work for most of us.

As a young lad I'd want to play. Things can change and maybe belief and confidence might take a bit of a dive when it doesn't work out though and a sense of looking after yourself and your family would probably kick in.

He'll be 29 when his deal expires, so he might even get a reasonable move off the back of leaving Palace then, who knows.

136 appearances and probably conceded 300
