I think it might get worse before it gets better but if he can get the defense drilled, with Kirchhoff and cattermole in front again then things will improve.

It isn't about drilling the defence.
It's the constant possession that the opposition has in midfield that push and push.
We lose the ball from the keeper EVERY TIME.
The defence is the least of our problems

Sack Moyes in February when we're 6 points adrift, new manager gets us safe with one game to go. Tried and testef.

And things never change as the new manager changes everything - again. We need to stick with one manager no matter what - if we go down so be it. But without stability it will be rinse and repeat ad nauseam.

I think this is the way to go like. We simply can't compete with teams like Everton at the minute. Never mind Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, etc. But we need to hope we can somehow stay up again this season under Moyes and push on. If not, we go down and try and come back up with the youngsters

We're abysmal, but it's only September FFS!
Calm the fuck down. If we're still struggling by Christmas, Short will pull the trigger on Moyes. It's far from over.
Yes we're abysmal, at what point does it turn round. Does other teams turn round a be shite and we become good.

It seems to be a surprise to some that were so bad. I've known this has been coming all summer. We've dismantled a competitive team and loaded up with shite on long term contracts. It's just yet another example of how Short has made a mess of it all.

4 games in, two good performances and two poor performances. Unlucky to not have 4 points IMO (draw at city and win at Southampton were absolutely possible), but that's he way it goes in football.

No denying we were poor today and against Boro, but come on man, we have been FAR worse off.

Too early to tell, 4 games gone they re plenty of games to the end. we will be fine.

It's definitely another relegation battle though isn't it lets be honest.

The team is poor and Moyes seems a shadow of the manager he used to be.

You're skint too and the only way you will bring in anyone worthwhile in January is if you sell Kone to fund it.

We could be swapping leagues Next year the way things are going.

Having said that Everton will be up there this season and Lukaku is one of the best strikers in the league, no shame in losing to a team like that, one of the best managers in the league too.
