is this a new record?

What a bunch of utter tarts this board is full of
Had a bunch in the shop this evening for the new 'Monday Special' from the bus depot for a sit down and chatting to them, 3/4 of them said we are down already...ffs. The other lad, (who had plaice), was upbeat but reckons it will be a struggle and Big Sam will leave before the seasons out.

What's the Monday special?

Some pathologically morose wallahs follow us, don't they?

Every recent season we are fucked before Christmas.

Every recent season there has been a Houdini act in the New Year.

How can we be relegated as of now given our escapologist pedigree?

Last two seasons I've thought we were fucked reasonably on, but this season I'm quite optimistic that we'll pull through if we can get a couple of results over the next month and a half, then add one or two steady players in January simply because I can't imagine a side under Allardyce not being organised when he's been here a month or two and organisation and discipline have been our major problems.

Maybe though I just keep getting it wrong and we are fucked :D

This is the worst Sunderland team I've ever seen, Coates is the worst defender I've ever seen, the whole team are gutless losers and pisspots, rotten core etc etc

I think it's been the most disorganised from the start of the season, without a doubt. But that's something you can do something about.

It's hardly outrageous to think we're probably going to go down and it certainly doesn't make you a fanny to think so. We've won 1 in 11 for fucks sake

I was only kidding man Perry!

I agree like, fifteen minutes into the Leicester game and all my early season optimism of carrying on where we left off last season was gone. We looked second best all over the park, fitness, hunger, confidence, tactics........

This didnt seem to get much better in subsequent games, and apart from the odd half decent performance, it was looking obvious that Advocaat either didn't know what to do, or didnt have the stomach for the fight.

I don't think we lack too much in quality in respect of the teams around us, and if there is one thing that Allardyce does well it's instill strucutre and organisation in his teams. Like you say, a couple of results, confidence and belief come back, the whole team working to a plan and pulling in the same direction, and I firmly believe we can stay up. I'm more conficent than I was in the previous two seasons.

I know you were just following chunky on. I was commenting on your piss take of what some are saying because on occasions we've made it look much worse than it should be, yet I think there's plenty there to work with despite how bad it's looked.
