Regrets

5 or 6 key moments where I would have wished I had more sense - don't know if that counts as regrets.

And why I never called Elizabeth back in 1991, why I didn't stick to Charlotte in 1992, marrying Linda in 1995, not divorcing Linda earlier.... Mostly romantic stuff like a few other posters.

It’s better to regret the things you did not regret the things you didn’t do I think.
I’ve had a good life and I’m mostly happy but, like most people I think, I always wonder what could have been.

Think I’ve made the most of my limited ability and worked hard at it, I’ve only got one child and often say that’s my only regret not having more kids. Could do with being a bit more diplomatic sometimes. it’s all about learning as ya go really isn’t it, if your still making the same mistakes over and over summits wrong like, if you do something then regret it means you are learning.

Winning the sperm race.
I hope you've at least become a good swimmer because of it.

Myself ? Yep. Loads. But thats partly because of the type of person i am,as well as things done or not done.

It's like mild mental torture, which gets me whenever i have time to think.

Nothing thats ruining my life though. Us dropping 2 points on Saturday is still mildly irritating me.
Not Regrets as everything happens for a reason

However reckon the older i get my mind changes and i would of deffo done things differently in certain situations

Susie M******y - 31 years later and I still wish I’d nobbed her rather than being well behaved 😭
I think we all have similar "what if" thoughts. Not all about Susie M obviously.

I do have a few pangs about not doing a PhD. It was part of my plan but I got a job to pay a few debts off and realised, at that particular company, you didn't need a PhD as they promoted and paid on merit once you had managed to get in.

If you hypothetically play back your life including a change, then it would lead out to an entirely different set of circumstances later on. I currently live in Cambridgeshire and I have two amazing kids, but only because of choices made in Kent 20 years ago. If I'd done things differently it wouldn't have led to what I'm doing now. I'm pretty happy with what I have so I wouldn't take that gamble even if I could.
