Ref tonight

All I am talking about is these people who are bad at their jobs, like the one last night. As I said, you could give them All the cameras in the world, but he would have got it wrong as the offences could be seen by everyone without them, except the useless officials of course.

How many times have you seen him ref this season? If you seen one player have a bad game world you automatically assume he always does?

Fuck off man you precious so and so. No matter what team is involved my opinions dont differ so dont turn this into a slagging Sunderland fans thing
Calls me precious but is absolutely fuming. Touched a nerve, have I?
You revel in being able to stick up for refs and have a go at our fans saying we're biased.

It surely has to get to a point though when performances are shit every week and perceived bad at their jobs every week

That we say hang on why is this?

It's obviously too difficult if it is happening all the time. Let's him them and look how to solve the situation rather than abusing every week.

Thought he as decent enough tbh. Made mistakes yes but most refs do in games so its hardly out the ordinary stuff
He gave 2 fouls against Honeyman in first half which I felt were wrong but other than that I can’t think of any glaring errors.

Even blatant fouls from our players have our fans stamping their feet so I take the opinion with a large amount of salt really.

It's not the criticism mate, of course refs have bad games and nothing wrong with saying soo.

It's the over the top abuse for someone trying to do their best it proven difficult circumstances.

I have no issues whatsoever somebody saying a ref had a bad game.
I haven't seen any "over the top abuse" as you put it, merely people expressing their opinion of the ref; most of which are that he was poor, got simple decisions wrong, seemed to try and make it about himself, tried to show that he wasn't going to be influenced by a big crowd (by L1 standards). A couple of these points may lead people into thinking that he was biased, and - whether that was his intention or not - they have a point

I think the stamping of feet from blatant fouls from our lot are frustration at the player themselves for making the unnecessary foul

He got some decisions wrong, he got more right.
Frustrations over our performance, imo, are sometimes taken out on the ref. He wasnt great but at the same time he wasn't as bad as some are making out
This is probably close to the truth.
I don't think he had a monumental effect on the game as we were quite poor for large parts, but it was made more difficult by some of his decisions

They just aren't good at it. They need replacing. Not all refs are this poor! Surely?

Of course, but are you claiming that they can't look rationally at things and praise a ref if he had a good performance, or even not slate him if he was indifferent
Some clearly can’t.

I was in east stand next to roker end and in 2nd half grigg was running through and flagged offside. It was impossible to tell from our angle but two nuggets behind me were adamant that the decision was a disgrace
