Reserve Squad
The quality of the standard of refereeing, like that of the players, diminishes as you descend the leagues. This has been demonstrated consistently throughout the season insofar as virtually every ref has been poor. There used to be a description 'homer' which referred to a referee who seemingly would see the path of least resistance via a favourability towards the home team. The reverse appears to be true this season at SOL. Could the relatively big game atmosphere at our place be having a psychological impact on decision making? Can the much bigger than normal third tier crowds be phasing the men in the middle? The sooner we get out of League 1 the better - for any number of reasons.
