It's baffling, every week you read on here they shit!

But people seem incapable of asking themselves why that is?

They watch every week, say refs are shit every week, but can't see what's asboutely staring them in the face.

Anybody with a grain of common sense and logic imo, should be thinking, f***ing hell its impossible in this day and age for refs, with the same tools they had 100 years ago ( just their eyes).

While the game has moved on massively more cheating, faster game, expected to book people more than ever.

It really baffles me wh people are not sympathetic and coming out with things like these guys really need help, the very fact not many on here could name a good ref this season, surely points to the fact how difficult it is?

The whole culture is ridiculous imo, a player cheats and cons the ref, does the cheat the player get criticised?

No the ref does, for not spotting the cheat!

There is nowt like biased passionate football fans for losing all sense of perspective and logic.
Well said, again, but absolutely irrelevant to the ref last night! He didn't give absolutely blatant fouls and didn't punish their players for clear booking offences.

it's a good job we've got unbiased opinion to back us up then isnt it?

Leadbitter walks off at HT, patiently attempting to explain the laws of the game to Scott Oldham. Mr Oldham just focusing on putting one foot in front of the other without falling over. #safc

Another foul he's missed. He's had a shocker and just wants the HT whistle to go. Hasn't realised that he's the one who'll have to blow it. #safc

This referee’s opinion of what is and isn’t a foul is unusual. His interpretation of all the other rules of football is equally baffling. Hey ho. No one ever said it was going to be easy. #SAFC 1-1 HT
End of debate, referee was shite.

Good find.

First half he was appalling. We didn’t get anything off him. He wasn’t punishing them for blatant fouls and was pulling us up on every little thing.

Second half, he was pretty much standard fare for this league.

Apart from the goal, the biggest cheer of the night was when he gave that first free kick to us in the second half. Says it all.

Perspective and logic???

Something you and that other the other two clowns seem to have none of.

Amazing isn’t it, 99% of people who watched the match see yet another poor performance yet you, the knob and the bellend corker don’t.

This isn’t a one off by you 3 clowns, it’s every time anyone criticises a referee. Do you actually go to these games and take note as to what goes on with these incompetent fools?

Maybe try and watch the game without an agenda.
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Another corker

I agree with this. He could have as many cameras, VAR or whatever, he just didn't give what could be clearly seen and bottled the bookings. I was just waiting for him to book one of ours for a minor foul after he let them away with some terrible challenges.

The standard of officialdom has been very poor in div3.

I wouldn't say they are cheating but they are coming to the sol trying to prove they are not a homer because of the big crowd. Just ref the game without an agenda!

Its funny but when we played bigger teand away in the premier league wed called the refs homers cos they didnt want to give anything against the big teams but now......

Yet when we played away in the premier league to the big club in that division the ref was always homer!

It's nothing short of laughable you actually believe that!

Can you show me a post when I say the ref had a good game and didn't no nowt wrong last night?

My point as always is these decisions are never as straightforward or obvious as folk make out?

Why was the goal disallowed from my view the keeper just dropped the ball wasn't fouled at all

Not sure. It looked like the keeper dropped the ball to us, but we were at the opposite end of the stadium so just assumed there was a foul on the keeper that we didn't see.

There’s barely a game goes by without the ref getting the ironic cheers.

Couple of decisions against honeyman that I thought were wrong but other than that he was fine.

Hardly the refs fault we have 2 centre halves who can’t pass a ball 5 yards.

I know you’re in the referees union mate but did you go to the match last night?

It wasn’t just our fans being bitter because we didn’t win, the ref really was that poor / one sided in the first half.

That's my name, don't wear it out.

How many refs is it that have had it in for Sunderland now this season?
I don’t know, I just comment on what I see, I see incompetence on a regular basis. Yet you fail to see it, minority knowing best yet again.

As I’ve asked the other two who constantly wank off these incompetent fools, were you there last night?
