Ref last night

The panel on the telly seemed to think he should have gone down and got Clarke sent off. Little tugs of the shirt or the arm like that go on all game, especially at corners. If that would have been ruled a sending off, every game would end with five a side.
Think Clarke did just enough to slow the lad but not so he went down. If he's chopped him it may well have been red.

Local radio on radio Leeds inundated with callers saying he was a disgrace / standard of refereeing crisis etc. Goes to show what an absolute embarrassment fans are with refs. Absolute guarantee that it would be the same on here if you'd had the decisions that Leeds had. Any game where some borderline calls go the way of the other team a section of fans carry on like 6 year olds. Interesting to note that his last game he reffed against you he was apparently terrible. Same old story with fans expecting referees to ref the game like they would. Can't deal with neutral eyes making decisions against your team.

The reaction after he turned down the O'Nien penalty claim on the match day thread last night was a sight to behold.

He was literally away and had nothing but grass in front of him. Clarke did just enough to hold him up. The absolute meltdown on here would've been explosive if the same happened to one of your attackers but it went in your favour so the ref had a good game.
