Red or Brown sauce on a bacon sandwich?

I don't do sauce mind. Sliced tomato done for two minutes on high in the microwave. If we have no tomatoes I usually go for sweet chilli sauce.

The flipping microwave?! You do fresh, proper tomatoes in the bloody microwave.

May you never nuke a tomato in anger again. Sweet chilli sarce suddenly doesn't seem so evil.

HP Brown for me . Once tried some Hoisin when the HP was empty which seem to work quite well.

Ditto. I've always had HP sauce on everything, although we've just started buying "French Fries" to cook in the actifry and red goes nicer with them.

Sweet chilli sauce & cheese would make a reasonable combo. Not too different in a culinary sense from the classic combination of cheese & chutney when you think about it.

Loads of stuff sounds vile, but if you try it, you realise it isn't.

Here’s another one...KFC gravy, stick some of their hot sauce in and mix it around...lovely.

Normal beans, stick some hot sauce in, lovely.

Pizza with pineapple on, lovely.

Curry with mango in, lovely.

I'm so torn because you mention some of my favourite things but then some utter horrendous combinations.

Haven't read the thread but has anyone else tried red and brown together. The woman in Greggs called it the dirty sandwich. Nice mix of tanginess and sweetness.
