Record Store Day

Hate the experience of shopping at vinyl stores. A thousand boxes packed as full as a Newcastle Gregg's and a beady eyed shop assistant/owner checking to see if you're browsing the right sub-genre of jazz-fusion-prog-apocalypto-... Some great stuff online though.

lose the "hipster" bit and you've described me, to a letter.

dinnar like you were wearing a funny hat when i saw you last.
Used to go into a shop in Newcastle in the late 80s/early 90s called Hitsville CD where this description certainly applied to the staff who worked there....on second thoughts maybe not hipster!

i find the modern ones the same as fancy coffee shop staff and craft ale bar staff. look down their nose at you for having the audacity to wander into their establishment without being either a member of a local indie band, or a young good looking lass, in which case they couldnt be happier to see you.

doesnt stop me going in. i just end up asking them millions of questions about their fancy products
