Record shops

I've some albums from 80s generally after a bit of a clear out.

Do any record shops in town buy them . I'm not on Ebay nor want to be again but just a quick sale as they should be played again. Just not by me.

Search discogs for prices.
Wait until you’ve got a 80-90% off final listing fees offer.
Whack on ebay.

Made a few grand doing this the last couple year when shops were offering far far less.

I would take The Crossing, Steeltown and Wonderland 12 inch. Boy, War and October. Spirit of Eden, The Colour of Spring and Laughing Stock. If they are in good nick and you were willing to split the bunch up.
Those BC ones I definitely have and I had to import Wonderland 12 inch at the time( my fav ever) but unsure regards U2 . Bare with me as speaking to someone regards bulk.

They're at my parents so I wont know fully till tomorrow.

Are you really sure you want to get rid of them though?

I only ask because I sold a lot of my old records to Pet Sounds 30 or so years ago when CDs came along and I regret it now.

The memories that are attached to them compared to the minimal amount of cash you would get for them...

I would keep them. I was going to throw all my vinyl away and my Mrs persuaded me to keep it. Years later I bought new hifi equipment and I'm back playing them. Would be kicking myself now if I'd got rid
Was always thinking of getting a player just to reminisce but it would only be for that. Good memories looking at them when my mother said all your records are in that cupboard. Not seen them for 30 year . In truth I know quite a few are missing , bugger knows where they are. Nah they need playing and i wouldn't.

Only emotionally attached to Big Country ones in truth.
