Course it did , our first team is shite never mind the squad , all the games in hand we’ve had all season people like yaself talking as if we had the points on the board it’s put more pressure on the team if anything , we arnt Portsmouth and it’s bit strange how they have fell short when it counted the most aswell

“We aren’t Portsmouth”

Christ almighty.

When the fuck did I say anything about us having points on the board? The Checkatrade games have had fuck all effect on us. We’ve been shit all season since day one.

And Portsmouth have won 8 of their last 10 games.

We’ve won 9 of our last 22.

And how many of their last 22 to compare apples with apples.

Quite a few were

I like his chant...

Too many small, slow players - many who are not physically up to a 46 game slog in this shit league. Is it a coincidence we always seem to tail off in the second half of games? Too many just haven't got the legs.

Also losing Maja and replacing him with Grigg has been a disaster.

Well a
Disagree a think it has ...

1.Honeyman - local, boyhood fan, but people need to see beyond this. He's been schooled multiple times in league one. He's not even an average league one player. Arguments can be made that even this isn't his level. Giving him the captains armband as some sort of local PR stunt has been stupid as fuck. He needs dropping from Sunderlands plans.
2. Gooch - be careful who you offer a new deal. Dreadful since signing a new one.
3. Ross - more money spent than the entire league combined, 20 draws, shite football, overseen total failure.
Good post that

- Failing to sign Lyle Taylor
- Losing Maja in January
- Failing to sign a good enough centre half
- Persistingly playing players that are out of form
- Disregarding Maguire for several games when he could have offered an attacking threat
- Signing Grigg, whilst spending over the odds for him in the process
- Reaching May and still not knowing our best team and preferred formation
- Ross's inability to win games
- Ross's lack of urgency when obvious changes are needed
- Poor team selections
- Poor singings all round, who appointed the scouts?
- Signing an injured Wyke who was goosed for months, he's picked up of late but still misses countless opportunities
- Not enough pace throughout the team
- Boring performances
- Draw after draw after draw
- Signing Leadbitter when he wasn't what we needed and then dropping him to the bench

Grigg may not have been a disaster if our management knew how to play to his strengths, he looks as if he hates being here to me, our 'style of play' if we f***ing have one is not suited to him. The fact there is a massive void in midfield between our defence and attack is not particularly inspiring

We are not very good in a lot of areas. Ive watched some teams a lot more fluid than us.

Centre Halves uncomfortable in possession (Burton lads at back were better than our midfielders on the ball), and just lump it forward generally.
Full backs, never been settled, especially left back. Whilst midfielder plays RB , quite welll though i may add.
Wingers, only McGeady any good, Morgan is ok when he fancies and Gooch is shite (said that for a long time i have)
Midfield, no pace and not one can unlock a defence, slow passing between them and defenders until its passed to wingers
Number 10 (if 1 up top), pathetic that we reach this time in season and Honeyman is still playing there, he just runs about in middle of park to help the other slow midfielders out.....so no link to Centre forward.
Forwards, Wyke has been injured and isnt a natural finisher (or hes been damn unlucky) and Grigg has little interest.

Generally they huff and puff but its a boring watch in truth, just a pendulam from side to side mostly.

But still, it can only get better, tyhough ive said that for feckin years.
