The FA Cup games. 2 extra games we didn’t really need. Drew and lost 2 extra games. A bit pointless from both playing and financial

Checkatrade big part like to much fixtures and re arranged games in hand , terrible signings , and letting maja go , poor decisions from the manager and changing the team every week until the 2 last game of the season embarising man

Players get off scot free like? Love it when that happens.

Who signed them?

Checkatrade had fuck all to do with it. Portsmouth have been on a fantastic run of form and they’ve played as many games as we have.

1. 57 games into the season and we don't have a playing style
2. 57 games into the season and we don't know our best team
3. Poor team selections
4. A rancid 4-2-3-1 with Honeyman usually as a second striker and a striker (Maja, Grigg, and Wyke) 30 yards from the nearest player
5. The fact that we fall to bits as soon as we take the lead
6. Shite substitutions which are based on trying and failing to hold on to a one goal lead, and usually 20 minutes too late
7. Solving our set pieces problem - then dropping the guy who solved it
8. Failure to learn from our mistakes
9. Picking journeymen like James, Honeyman, and Gooch, ahead of players who might win games like Oviedo and Maguire
10. Going into each game hoping that something might turn up if we get the ball to McGeady enough

Firstly seasons not over yet, may still be successful, bit of a long shot I know but could be.

Secondly, and in answer to the op question, from where we were to finish in the top 4 was a bit of a turnaround, but this has to be an opportunity missed, and it's down to our defence, not one of them, and I include saint onion in that, should play football again, they're frauds if they pass themselves off as footballers, they're total f***ing shit. I don't think they would get in the shields team, they're f***ing shocking.

Almost as if there is a common factor between those 10

Hard to 1-1 draw your way to the championship when we can’t win penalty shootouts

Course it did , our first team is shite never mind the squad , all the games in hand we’ve had all season people like yaself talking as if we had the points on the board it’s put more pressure on the team if anything , we arnt Portsmouth and it’s bit strange how they have fell short when it counted the most aswell

Injuries
Players playing well below their standards
Our manager being far too negative in nearly every single game and not having a clue how to change the game for the better

We need another season in league one to get the team playing good football (I haven't seen us play well for 90 mins once all season).

I'll be worried if we're in the same position next season.
