Realistic options for a new gaffer

Whoever it is will get same treatment if he loses his first few games.

Time to come the fannies on here would be typing "would rather have ross back"

Same been happening regarding Grayson and folk been saying Moyes was better.

Place is full of depressive sing when ya winning mags. Which is strange as most depressives on here laugh at their antics.

There are some constructive ross dislikers but some right knackers as well.

I, because we are a lot little League 1 club now and should accept it.

Honestly don’t understand the lack of ambition.

Keane or give SKP the job. A manager who will set his teams up to attack and have a go at teams

Can't see Keano working with the owners. My #1 choice would be Houghton but unrealistic given we're league one with no cash... give it to SKP the feel good factor alone would be worth it.

Keane. He was brilliant in the championship. This is league 1 so we'd get two or three good seasons out of him at least (which is longer than any manager has lasted for us for a while) and if he got us promoted he'd have earned another shot at the premiership.

People proposing Keane must have memory loss.

- Prior to him leaving, we were shocking;
- He wasn't even putting in the hours by the sounds of it, happily sauntering into the AoL as and when it pleased him;
- He left us, he was not sacked;
- He wasted a lot of money on absolute shite;
- He performed badly at Ipswich, before being sacked;
- He was part of the Villa coaching team that failed to deliver promotion;
- He was part of the Rep. of Ireland coaching team that had a very poor recent campaign and was sacked;
- He had bust-ups with players that were aired in public during this time;
- He walked away from Forest before he was sacked, again after failing to perform.

Imagine Keane reporting to Methven? As much as we like Keane's candid honesty at times, he's a loose cannon that will never change.

He would be a poor appointment imo, certainly not long term. He wouldn't last, he'd likely walk again when things got tough.
