Realistic managers if Ross goes

Ross will be here until the takeover gets confirmed I think.

Sooner it’s done the better

Paul Heckingbottom who has Hibs 1 place off bottom and who is on the verge of the sack himself?

Class appointment he’d be.

Great job at Barnsley, gets his break at a big club and then gets sacked pretty quickly....Then gets a big club in Scotland, decent start and now gone to shit.

On the plus side Benno might cut him some slack as they were team mates in the same defence at Scarborough alongside John Kay so might be nice to him for a few weeks.

I don’t think that would be an issue personally.
Hughton always seemed to present as a very level headed bloke and never got drawn into any comments about the rivalry.
Can’t recall him ever doing anything to rile Sunderland supporters

As it stands, he is still popular on Tyneside. If he comes here, a lot of the skunks won’t like it

Honestly no idea other than to say lets not appoint someone either one of the old guard (Warnock, Pullis, McCarthy, etc)

Young, up-and-coming manager who has an attacking philosophy, will try to play good football and can tap into a decent scouting network. Should be easy enough to find!

Just please not f***ing Bally temporary- ban anyone who suggests it

This is the problem. Until they can line up the right replacement we're better off drifting under Ross. The takeover is hopefully a game changer but sacking Ross, 4 games of Ball and ending up with Jacket is repeating Premier League mistakes in League One.
