Does anyone think REID would do a job for us in this league? Absolutely shite in his last season for us, questionable transfer policy and out of the game a long time?Phillips and Reidy
Like i said - he was my preferred choice 2 seasons ago - clearly since then it hasn't gone well for him. My suggestions are easy to criticise - do you have better ones?Paul Heckingbottom who has Hibs 1 place off bottom and who is on the verge of the sack himself?
Class appointment he’d be.
It has to be someone who will galvanise the fans and add some excitement around the place.
It doesn’t necessarily need to be someone with masses of managerial experience - look at Gerrard with Rangers and Frank Lampard’s Derby last season.
Steph?Houghton
Lock up your daughters!John Terry?

Flip side - a couple of great years, isn’t frightening to try to win a f***ing game: is Saxo still alive?
Keane has just signed a punditry contract with Sky
Takeover = AllardycePaul Cook - got the best out of Grigg 2 seasons ago, wigan always try to play football
Nathan Jones - did a job at Luton but struggling in the championship - again Luton played a reasonably attacking way
Michael Flynn at Newport
Paul Heckinbottom - i wanted us to go for him when we went for Coleman
im sure the smb can come up with better!
I dont pretend that my suggestions are necessarily any good - i honestly know very little about the ability of managers in the EFL - Jones's Luton impressed me last year but clearly he hasn't got to grips with Stoke
Steph?
Rowett or Jokanovic
They treat him like shite.Would be a good choice, but doubt he will come due to his mag connections
Talking shite again there mate.Or sometimes it doesnt matter what the manager does if the players wont f***ing listen. While people will slag off Ross, he cannot be held responsible for the rank ineptitude of professional players who cant do the absolute basics.......Its been clear in recent weeks that Hume can deliver a cracking cross and yet on the opening day against Oxford he had about 20 odd and every single one was utter shite.........McGeady is a master penalty taker and yet on Tuesday he pretty much passed the ball to their keeper and cost us two points.....Today Grigg, a bloke who regularly scores over 20 goals a season at this level gets a free header into a virtually empty net from 6 yards and puts it 5 yards wide.....
No manager can be held responsible for quality professional footballers delivering utterly inept moments that cost us points.
